Michael is an Associate with Law & Stein, LLP. His practice focuses on estate planning and tax planning as well as handling matters related to high net worth estate planning and tax strategies.
Prior to joining Law & Stein, LLP, Michael focused on probate administration, trust administration, drafting revocable trusts, wills, health care directives, durable power of attorneys, quitclaim deeds, buyout agreements, purchase agreements, promissory notes, corporate minutes, and revocation of grantor status documents. Michael has also helped countless clients with high net worth statuses with respect to implementing estate planning strategies regarding the legal, tax, and financial consequences of various estate plans.
Early on, Michael had the opportunity to gain exposure to the intricacies of advanced estate planning, spending nine years working closely with a sole practitioner of 30 years. In addition to practicing law, Michael was concurrently pursuing his LL.M. in Taxation at Chapman University Fowler School of Law which was completed in December 2017. Michael is admitted to practice law in the State of California, the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Michael received his LL.M. in Taxation from Chapman University, Juris Doctor from Whitter Law School and his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA.
